Situated on the River Medway in Kent, Chatham Maritime Marina is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area.

The Medway Estuary offers excellent cruising in the lower reaches, with many secluded anchorages on the southside, perfect for lazy lunch stops.The river is navigable for around 13 miles from its mouth at Sheerness to Rochester. For boats drawing only 2 metres, the possibilities are even greater.From the Medway itself lies the wider cruising area of the east coast and its rivers, while Holland is just 80 miles away.

Facilities

Chatham Maritime Marina offers full access to electricity, with daily and long term basis available, as well as refuse, waste oil and battery disposal. .Also available for use are toilets, showers and a launderette.Nearby, in Rochester high street there are a number of good quality pubs, restaurants and shops, Rochester is approximately 2.5 miles from the marina.The marina is accesible at all states of tide as we use a lock system to access the 300 berths.

Location

Chatham Maritime is a brand new development only 45 minutes awy from London by road, and is situated close to the Medway Tunnel near Frindsbury. It can be reached easily from the A2 (junction 1 of the M2) following signs for Rochester and Chatham.If arriving by train, the marina can be reached from the local station by a short taxi ride.
