MARINATOWN MARINA is located on the North side of the Caloosahatchee River just west of the US Route 41 fixed bridge(55') in North Fort Myers, Lee County, Florida. By land, just 400 yards west of US 41 off Hancock Bridge Parkway.

Marinatown's docks are stationary with 4 way tie to pilings or alongside T-docks for larger vessels. The marina is a proven storm refuge, protected on all four sides by land areas. Normal tide range runs about 2 feet.

The 140 slip marina caters to both transient and long term tenants. The marina has a Live Aboard population which flows and ebbs with the season. Showers, laundry, restaurants, pool, boat shop, office space, and condo rentals are available on site; including Sneaker's Bar & Grill and The Mariner's Inn Restaurant. Supermarkets, drug, liquor, numerous shops, restaurants, and motels are within a half mile radius of the marina as is a public bus stop with connecting service throughout the county.

The Fort Myers area has numerous items of interest such as the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins spring training, the Edison Museum and Home, The Imaginarium, numerous Golf Courses, Southwest Regional International Airport(20-25 minutes), Florida Gulf Coast University(opening 1997), Fort Myers Beach(20 miles), Sanibel and Captiva Islands(20 miles), etc.

For the cruising boater there are numerous well protected anchorages inside the barrier islands and along the ICW. Cayo Costa State park offers a fine anchorage at Pelican Bay plus great shelling along it's secluded beaches.

With Boat/US, West Marine, and E&B Marine in the area, along with "walk to" supermarkets, you won't find a better place to provision along the ICW.
