The Inland Waterways offer a variety of facilities for the private boat owner but few can match Cowroast Marinas, one on the Grand Union at Tring and its sister, Fenny Marina, on the Oxford Canal.

The two centres are ideally placed for mooring in the South Midlands and the South East and offer all the usual services, engineering, slipway, narrowboat brokerage, chandlery, and, of course, gas, diesel, pump-out and elsan disposal.

Facilities

Both purpose built on-line basins offer all craft clear access on and off their full pontoon berthsBoth marinas have electric hook-up and easy access to water taps throughout the Marinas.There are residential boats at both sites to aid security and both basins are lit at night. Access to most boats is possible with cars for loading and unloading and, of course, both sites have a good sized car park.Cowroast Marina at Tring has shower and laundry facilities for mooring tenants, and, whilst Fenny has no laundry facilities at present, Mooring tenants shower facilities are also available at that Marina Picnic and Barbecue areas have been created at both Marinas.

Location

Tring is situated between Aylesbury and Hemel Hempstead, off the A41. It is easily accessible with the M40 motorway close by.
