Bray Marina - Thames
Marinas Berkshire - UK
Bray Marina's charming character and away-from-it-all atmosphere owes something to its country park setting amid grassy banks and shady trees, and much to its welcoming staff and ease of mooring.
Located on one of the most popular stretches of the River Thames, Bray Marina is a well maintained and friendly harbour, with direct and unrestricted access to the Thames. Well spaced pontoons enable easy manoeuvring and mooring of boats and recent upgrading of services and facilities means that Bray Marina provides some of the best berths on the River Thames. Strict site security with an electronic security gate and floodlighting give extra confidence to boat owners. The village of Bray is known for its turncoat vicar and Michel Roux's elegant Waterside Inn. Scenes from John Huston's 'The African Queen' were filmed at the nearby studios.
