Woolverstone Marina is set on the picturesque River Orwell in 22 acres of of parkland, with the Royal Harwich Yacht Club nearby.
A number of navigable estuaries are close at hand, providing interesting sailing in sheltered waters. The adjacent River Stour is particularly scenic and there are numerous creeks in Walton Backwaters to explore. To the South, the Colne and Blackwater estuaries offer varied sailing, while turning north takes you towards the river Deben.
The marina features 200 berths, with 120 swinging berths, serviced by a ferry. Available on site is fuel (diesel) and calor gas, Toilets, showers and a laundry facility, as well as a restaurant and bar, and a well stocked chandlery.
There is a 20 ton mobile crane, should you wish to place your boat in to storage or in the hard standing area and also on site there is a yacht brockerage.
Woolverston Marina stands on the River Orwell south of Ipswich. It can easily be reached via the A14 following the route to Shotley and then Woolverstone Village, about halfway through the village, the marina is signposted.
The nearest railway station is Ipswich Central which is approximately 15 minutes away by taxi.
