Emsworth is a friendly marina situated on Chichester Harbour. Our sheltered site has nearly 200 pontoon berths for yachts and motor boats with facilities for boat storage ashore and boat movement. Visiting yachtsmen are welcome.

The marina was created in 1964 from a log pond and is within walking distance of the attractive village of Emsworth in Hampshire. The village has a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants while on site services include a chandlery and an outboard specialist. The Emsworth Cruising Association was found in Emsworth Yacht Harbour and a significant proportion of its members are still based with us.

Chichester Harbour is the South Coast's premier harbour for water based recreation. It is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty comprising eleven square miles of water together with eleven square miles of land and has seventeen miles of marked channels.

Facilities

The marina features 191 berths, with water and electricity to all pontoons.

On site there is access to showers and toilets, car parking, a well equipped chandlery, a 40 tonne mobile crane and slipway and Diesel, calor and camping gas available.

For those needin maintenance, there is an outboard specialist and boat repairs site.

location

Emsworth Yacht Harbour is situated just east of Emsworth off the A259 from Emsworth to Chichester and minutes from the A27. It is easily accessible from London and the Home Counties via the A3.

After taking the A259 exit off the A27, continue for about a mile or so until you arrive at a crossroads with a mini-roundabout. Continue straight on passing ponds to left and right, after a further 100 metres turn right into Thorney Road where the sign says Yacht Harbour.

The entrance to the marina will then be found on your right

The marina is only one mile from Emsworth Station, which is on the main South Coast line with services to London Victoria and via Havant to London Waterloo

The marina is entered from Emsworth Channel over a sill which is 2.44 metres (8 feet) over chart datum

The average access to the marina is 2.5 hours either side of high water.
