Amble Marina

Amble, North East, United Kingdom

Welcome to Amble Marina. An average of 3000 visitors a year are coming to see us from as far afield as Montreal and New Zealand.

Within the marina there are both large and small berths, and access directly from the seaward side in wide, deep berths. Major investment has been made in security, pontoon repositioning and general maintainance improved site wide. Along the harbour, the wall and breakwaters have been repaired and enhanced, and the RNLI now have a new home beside Amble Boat Company.

Marina Facilities

We have 200 berths available for annual, seasonal or visitor berthing. With 6, 7 and a half, 9 and 12 metre fingers and alongside berths for larger vessels up to 26 metres LOA.

There are showers and a bath for everyone, and a laundry with industrial sized washer and drier and even an ironing board and iron.

Water and electricity are available for all berths with diesel available on site and petrol and gas available nearby.

Our security is first rate, access to the pontoons is through electronic key card, notifying us when you are on the site.

The marina office can be contacted on VHF channel 80.

Marina location

We can be found by taking the Felton turn-off on the A! and following the signs to Amble. Follow the main road through Amble heading north. Immediately on the right after the Marina Arms Pub and Castle View Garage, turn right into the entrance route to Amble Marina.

By rail we can be reached from London, Newcastle or Edinburgh to Ainmouth station, approximately 5 miles from the station.
