Windermere Marina Village is set on the beautiful shores of Lake Windermere, England's largest lake.

We are the North's Premier inland Marina and Holiday Resort, the ideal location whether you chose to explore the beauty and traditions of the Lake District or enjoy watching the boats from the comfort of your waterfront cottage.

Windermere is in the heart of The Lake District National Park; one of the UK's most traditional and undisturbed areas. As the largest of England's National Parks it has a unique combination of spectacular mountain scenery, rugged fells, pastoral and wooded valleys, not to mention the serenity and peace of the numerous lakes and tarns.

Facilities

Windermere Marina Village offers the lakes most modern moorings. With over 280 fully serviced berths and a further 150 standard berths there is plenty of space for all types of craft.

The marina can offer boat service and sales, boat transportation and sometimes space in our boathouses.

There are petrol and diesel fueling points within Bowness Bay (3/4 mile by lake) and also gas canisters available from the marina office.

In addition to these services there are shops and leisure facilities for both the young and adults, toilets, shower and laundry as well as security and first aid services.

Windermere Marina Village is set on the Eastern Shore of Lake Windermere, at heart of the Lake District National Park within a mile of the village of Bowness.

The region is easily accessible by car or by train especially from areas in the North West of England.

The entrance to the marina via boat is through the entrance channel at the head of 'Sour Pool Bay' 500 yards south of the car ferry on the eastern shore of Lake Windermere.
