Kip earns the reputation as 'Scotland's Premier Marina' because its combination of location, superb berthing and range of services are second to none.

Our Marina berths have been the venue for many yacht racing, cruising and motor boat events. All the major Clyde yacht races either start from or very close to Kip. Our 50 ton capacity travel hoist is always kept busy prior to the regattas, as race crews prepare the undersides of their boats all looking for that little bit of advantage.

Kip is run by boating experts and our Berthing, Boat Sales, Service, Chandlery and Chartroom staff are all on hand to make your life much easier, leaving you to enjoy your leisure time to the full.

Facilities

Recent developments at Kip Marina include a modern covered workshop. This addition to our facilities means that we may now offer you undercover workshop space into which we can put your boat should any external work be required. For this year 2001 we have also enhanced the shore-side facilities to provide more convenient access to a water and electricity supply throughout the yard.

Whether you berth your boat at Kip Marina or are planning a visit we shall be pleased to provide whatever service you may require.

Kip Marina is situated on the southern shores of the River Clyde in the most centrally located area for cruising these idyllic sheltered waters. With direct access by road and rail to Glasgow and the international airport, Kip is accessible to every boat owner within the UK and Europe.
