Hafan Pwllheli is situated on the south side of the Lleyn Peninsula and provides access to some of the best sailing waters in the UK.

Cruising in the waters off the Lleyn Peninsula, which combine moderate tidal and sea conditions with a varied pattern of winds, offers the spectacular scenery of the Snowdonian mountains as a backdrop. The rugged coastline has also been designated an 'Area of Outstanding National Beauty'.

In 1997 Hafan Pwllheli was awarded the prestigious Five Gold Anchors Award by The Yacht Harbours Association (TYHA).

Facilities

Hafan Pwllheli is one of the finest yachting venues in Western Britain. It has over 400 pontoon berths and excellent onshore facilities. These facilities include toilets, showers and launderette, refuse and oil disposal, fuel pontoon and calor gas, slipway and boat hoist and a secure car park.

The harbour master listens to VHF channels 80 and 16 and operates on channel 8.

Hafan Pwllheli Marina is situated in Pwllheli in the North of Wales and on the Lleyn Peninsula. It is only a short drive from Caernarfon and the beautiful Snowdonia national park.

The marina is easily accessable by road or by rail with trains coming into the region from Liverpool.
