Hyth Marina Village was the first marina village to be built in the UK.

Located on the western shore of Southampton Water, it is a unique development of a marina, together with waterside homes, shops, restaurants and chandlery.

Hythe Marina Village combines the first class facilities of an MDL marina with a friendly residential community. Many of those living at Hythe own boats which they have moored conveniently at the foot of their garden.

Facilities

Hythe Marina Village offers full access to electricity, fuel and gas, as well as refuse, waste oil and battery disposal.

Available for use are toilets, showers a launderette and a well stocked chandlery.

There is also a craning and boat storage facility controlled by the marina.

Dotted around the marina there are shops and restaurants.

ythe Marina Village is situated on the easily accessible Southampton Water along with several other MDL marinas in and around the Solent.

The marina is also easily accessible by road via the M27, and by rail to Southampton Central where a bus or taxi can take you to the Southampton Water ferry which will take you across to Hythe.

The marina can be contacted on VHF channel 80.

Other Details

The marina entrance is controlled by lock gates which are operated 24 hours a day throughout the year.
